Join us on fourth Sundays, weather permitting, after the 10am service for a trail walk to Percival’s Island. We’ll meet at the ‘Love’ sign at the railroad tracks (Commerce St/Washington St/Concord Turnpike) at 11:30 a.m.
Percival’s Island is a familiar landmark in downtown Lynchburg. Visitors may see herons, migrating waterfowl and many native plants and animals as they follow the paved trail, which bisects the natural area.
