Easter is just around the corner and it is time to begin our plans to adorn the sanctuary and chapel of St. Paul’s with symbols of new life: lilies, greens, and blooming plants. Your Easter flower gift allows the members of the Flower Guild to prepare the church for Easter and to purchase supplies and flowers as needed for the work of the Guild.
  • We offer a variety of ways to request Flower Gifts, but we need the order by Tuesday, March 31:
  • Email your request to llbaldwin@stpaulslynchburg.org
  • Put your request into an envelope and drop it in the Offertory Plate or bring it to the Parish Office (9am-2pm)
  • Mail the form & check to the Parish Office (but please follow up with a call or email to ensure receipt in time)
Checks should be made payable to St. Paul’s with “Easter Flowers” in the memo (may be sent separately)

Following the guidelines below will be very helpful:
  • Please use Christian names with no titles (Mary and John Smith –NOT Mr. and Mrs. John Smith)
  • Please only use “and” with married couples (“Emily Johnston and Benjamin Powers”
makes it clear that this is a couple and either Emily chose to retain her maiden name or Johnston is her middle name)
  • Please list grandchildren’s names individually and in full
  • If both you and another family member will give gifts in honor of the same loved one, please understand that we will list the name only once and we will use the most complete version of the name given
  • The names of those honored will be listed alphabetically in the Bulletin and not under the Donor’s name
We recognize the importance of listing names correctly so, if it is possible, we would appreciate emailed requests or typed names on a separate sheet to be included with this form (be sure to note “In Memory of” or “In Thanksgiving for”).
